Are we still in 1940??

Okay so i have this friend who clearly needs to come back into the 21st century. She gives independent women every were a bad name. Basically she thinks that the man is the sole provider and that we should basically worship the ground they walk on if they allow us a pair of fucking shoes. i stand for women to be treated as fairly as a man. After all our sisters through the centuries didn’t fight for women rights everywhere just for them to be taken away again. am i right??

basically when i get to that stage in my life when i want to settle down i believe that surely the father should have shared respnsabilty why should i have to give up my full career that i have worked just as hard for as the farther of my baby. At the end of the day it took both of us to create this life surely we should look after the child together. Unfortantly i will never a domesticated goddess. I love earning my own money it means that no one has a hold over you.

At the end of the day it up to women what they want from there lives but i for one will not be sat at home waiting for my husband by the door with a beer and a smile, he be waiting for me. After all this is 2012 not 1940!!!

The hardest goodbye

There comes at time in life were we have to say goodbye. Goodbye’s can be hard, good, happy, relief all kinds of emotions. In our lifetime we can say a billion of goodbyes whether it just leaving for work or saying goodbye to a loved one. I think possibly the biggest goodbye is when we grow up and reliase that we have to say goodbye to our childhood. saying goodbye to those long summer nights sat in the park with your friends promising to be be friends forever. or saying goodbye too the childhood toys like the teddy bear that was there when you cried, when you took your first steps, who protected you from the monsters under your bed. I know soon that im going to have to do one of the hardest goodbyes possible. My doggy bumble bee is getting a bit old now after watching Marley and me i know the out come. I know some of you will think how this be the hardest goodbye. well this dog been there through everything. he was there when my parents split, he was there to protect me when i needed him, he holds many of my childhood memories. So when i say goodbye to him i not only be saying goodbye to a friend but also to my childhood.

Why does everyone want to be the same??

Why is it that everyone is obsessed with being skinny in time for summer? This is when i wish that Marilyn Monroe was still here. Didn’t she teach society anything? Have you ever thought to yourselves the reason why all the celebrities are stupidly skinny is because they spend thousands and i mean thousands of pounds on trainers and diets. If you ask and any self respecting person they will tell you that it better to be healthy then look skinny. I for one am a girl who LOVES her food. I can out eat my boyfriend any day. And this is one of the reasons why he loves me. So if you want to eat a Big mac good ahead. Stick the slim fast shake in the bin and eat a fucking burger. I be on the beach this summer in a bikini showing off my curves and if the barbies wanna comment i just shove a burger in their hungry ass faces.
